Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-25

InternetSpeedTest.tech is part of the Easy Digital Tools network. This policy explains what technical data may be processed when you visit the site or run the internet speed test.

Information processed by the tool

  • Public IPv4 address: Processed so the site can display your current public IPv4 address.
  • ISP or provider information: Your public IPv4 address may be used to identify the associated internet service provider or network organization.
  • Speed-test measurements: Temporary download and upload test data is transferred to measure bandwidth, ping, latency and jitter.
  • Technical request data: Your browser and server requests may include headers, device information, timestamps and connection details needed for website operation and security.
  • Usage data: Analytics may collect page views, interactions, approximate location, device type and similar website-usage information.

How the internet speed test works

The speed test runs in your browser and exchanges temporary measurement data directly with Cloudflare's network. Cloudflare may receive your IP address and connection measurements as part of providing the test infrastructure. InternetSpeedTest.tech displays the resulting download speed, upload speed, ping and jitter in your browser.

IP and ISP lookup services

The site may use ipify to obtain a public IPv4 address when it cannot be reliably detected by our server. It may also use ipwho.is to identify the ISP or network organization associated with that address. These services receive the technical information required to answer those requests.

Software delivery and content networks

The browser-based speed-test module may be delivered through jsDelivr. A content-delivery network can receive ordinary request information such as your IP address, browser headers and the requested file when it serves the script.

Do we store individual speed-test results?

We do not intentionally save individual download, upload, ping or jitter results in our own results database. The results are shown in your browser. Third-party services involved in the measurement, lookup, hosting or analytics process may handle technical data according to their own policies and operational requirements.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider or security systems may generate standard server logs. These can include IP addresses, request times, requested pages, browser information and error details. Logs may be used for security, abuse prevention, reliability and troubleshooting.

Cookies and analytics

This site may use analytics to understand traffic and improve the tool. Analytics services may use cookies or similar technologies to collect statistics such as page views, session activity and interactions with buttons or links.

Affiliate and external links

Some links may be affiliate or partner links. If you follow one, the destination website may process your request, set cookies or use tracking parameters according to its own privacy policy. We may receive a commission if you complete a qualifying action, at no additional cost to you.

How we use information

Technical and usage information is used to operate the site, provide measurements, display connection information, understand performance, prevent abuse and improve the service. We do not sell your individual speed-test results.
